We were first introduced to
Amos Tranque during SAFW in 2014, during the menswear designer competition
slot. It was pretty much love at first sight. Their AW15 campaign is further
testament to why this love exists. Personal Space reflects a beautiful and
almost ethereal depiction of our existence within this Earth. We being neither
here nor there. It’s a little eerie, somewhat back-to-the-future, yet
completely present in modern times.
The designers says ‘Personal
Space is an analysis of the psychological aspects of space in relation to the
physical body and mind. The design vocabulary of this collection explores the
awareness about our personal space and the actions your body would take to
protect itself’.
