We recently received a drop box
from the Doneal brand with the reveal of their spring summer 2015 collection.
The set of images consisted of what appeared to be casual pieces in the context
of construction. We began to ponder what it all meant, as with fashion,
sometimes what appears to have meaning can be just creativity on its own.
As we read the transcript that
accompanied the images, it all began to make sense. The Virile Prominence collection draws its inspiration from
hardworking men. Striving to be successful regardless of circumstance, these
men don’t look back at their past; he stays diligent to his passion and takes
the challenge of changing situations with effectiveness and efficiency.
In its most literal form, the
collection takes on symbols and anecdotes from construction sites and
construction workers and their uniforms. You see the introduction of blue in
the collection; taken from the standard blue overall workwear these men wear.
It represents responsibility and reliability.
