Finally, an announcement has been made regarding this year’s polo activities: Saturday, 3 November, 2018, sees the Western Cape’s most prestigious social calendar event make a welcomed return. For the first time, in the event’s nine-year history, the Cintron Pink Polo experience, will be presented by one of Africa’s largest telecommunications companies: Vodacom – adding to the event’s slogan of – ‘Polo with a Purpose’.

Most prevalent in women, while also affecting a high number of men, the Cintron Pink Polo, presented by Vodacom, pays tribute to the survivors of breast cancer and serves as a platform to raise awareness.

This year, the game well-regarded as ‘The Sport of Kings’, is themed ‘Authentic Polo’. Your go-to colour scheme is emerald green and pink with touches of gold as it represents the regal association of the sport as a luxury pastime. You can look forward to an eventful day, filled with fashion, food and wine offerings, with plenty of surprises; all set against the picturesque backdrop of the Winelands of the Franschhoek/Paarl valley.
