Faces: Roosevelt Traore aka Roze from Twenty Model Management

I’m not one to feature ‘Faces’ on this blog. In fact this would officially be the first time I do so. I much prefer cruising Jerri’s blog ‘According To Jerri’ for his Striking Faces feature on models and celebrities. I’ve been stalling because I hardly have the balls to approach a model and ask for images for fear of being cited as ‘forcing myself on him’…

It happens. Male models assume if you’re gay and approaching them that you’re likely after their number. Such a pity though because I’ve spotted so many pretty male faces that I’d love to feature on the blog. Alas, we shall continue to hold true to form and only feature those who are interested in being seen on this blog.

One such model is international male sensation Roosevelt Traore, better know as Roze to industry insiders and fans. We were recently introduced and due to work commitments from both parties, have been unable to do some work together. So we figured if the shoot wouldn’t go on, his feature on the blog will.

Not just a striking face, Roze is a model with culinary skills. His strong interest in cooking and working with international chefs and restaurants has seen him travel the world, being exposed to various cultures and networks. While in South Africa (SA) he managed to get some chef time at One&Only ™ ‘s Nobu Restaurant and also the French cuisine house of La Colombe. Also preparing three-course meals for GQ and Men’s Health functions.

One of Roze’s goals is to open an internationally acclaimed food haven on the beach in Ivory Coast. As he departs for the States this month (April 2013) we wish him well and trust he’ll be back for an even lengthier visit.
