New York’s Street Culture Brand ‘Staple’ now available at Loom

LOOM recently announced its welcoming of one of New York City’s most credible street wear/culture brands exclusively in South Africa to its Parkhurst store.

Staple. Arriving with their Spring Summer 2013 baseball-inspired collection which is appropriately titled “Spring Training 2013”, the collection features a variety of men’s items depicting the story; including snapbacks, baseball jackets, selvedge denim, hoodies and t-shirts. The collection would not be complete without the iconic grey New York City pigeon logo featuring on the garments in different applications and patterns.

Anothony Keyworth, co-owner of Loom said, ‘the decision to introduce Staple amongst Loom’s handpicked selection of brands was a no-brainer, as it’s a cult-status label that’s respected for harmoniously mixing street-minded sensibilities with mature and sophisticated nods to high-end fashion.’

For all the gents in Joburg, go and visit Loom in Parkhurst and check out the collection for yourself. For the street ballers outside the city of Jo-hustle-burg, when you’re next in town pop in or check out Loom online to see what you’d like to swipe for.

Staple Clothing forms part of a larger family. It’s a division of Staple Design, a visual communications agency founded in New York City founded in 1997 by Jeff Ng. It’s sister divisions are a creative agency Staple Design Studio and a retail store Reed Space. With the kind of foundation the brand exists within, one is expected to be impressed and to be assured they will be buying into a quality brand with a sense of longevity.
