It’s not norm for us to feature
ladieswear content, but it’s mandatory for us to highlight African talents
within the fashion and grooming sector. One such talent is the young Nigerian
photographer, Daniel Obasi. Obasi also happens to be a stylist – standard in
the fashion universe where the ability to only do one thing is your worst
career enemy. Here we feature some of his latest work, a visual poem titled, ‘Nativity’.
N
A T I V I T Y
“There
is a new tune playing out tonight…
We
the children have found ourselves scrambling home,
Or
we lose sight of the very last moonlight…
Get
home safe we bade ourselves, still lingering
In
our young hearts the jolly tales the great dying tree spoke…
May
we sleep, yet keep these little bits of memory awake”
