US based model Bobby Pratt has
become synonymous with South African consumers as the face of Kurt Geiger. The
New Yorker, known as “Bo” to his friends, epitomises the Kurt Geiger man -
bold, confident and sophisticated.
“Bo” steps back into our lives for
the Kurt Geiger winter season and we’re delighted to say he does not disappoint
– nor does the 2012 collection, which has evolved since launching as a stand
alone brand a year ago. Characterised by superior quality fabrics and ultimate
comfort, Kurt Geiger will steal centre stage this season.
Sourced from Turkey, Greece,
Portugal and other European countries, the premium men’s wear label showcases
the best in quality knitwear, jeans, winter coats, belts and shoes. Exclusively European inspired, this
season’s knitwear collection has been taken up a notch. Typically characterised
by the Kurt Geiger element of surprise, points of difference to look out for
include elbow patches, cowl neck detail, exquisite contrasts and subtle
branding. Expect chunky, vintage styles, complimented by rich, bold colours.
Building
on the success of the denim collection, Kurt Geiger will introduce three
premium lines – NYC (entry level), Soho (luxury) and Carnegie (premium). Each line,
which is highly fashioned, will be identifiable by specific but subtle branding
and high quality denim sourced in Turkey.
Other
elements to keep an eye open for include the Kurt Geiger belt selection, which
has been characterised by attention to detail in the texture and trimmings.
Beautiful canvas and leather mix items have been chosen to compliment the denim
collection.
