Renaissance Men SA: Jameson Presents Over The Top

I actually have no words for the last three weeks of my life. Then, I have to contend with the fact that the last two events I was invited to this year were completely off the hook. "Off the hook" is not a term I use but a term that most people understand to mean so much with just three words. Incredible does not even begin to describe this last party - Jameson Presents Over The Top: The Opulence Series - which was Saturday, 15 December 2012, at one of the most gorgeous homes I have ever - EVER - stepped into in my entire life. Yes, granted, the house is valued at R64million, so it needs to be elegantly over the top. F it - it was phenomenal.

After a lengthy walk from Mouille Point to the other side of Sea Point, searching for the "Beach Road Parking Lot" address which was on my ticket, I finally made it to meeting point and found myself greeted by a chilled towel and cold still water (bottled). The team from KL PR & Events were there to greet everyone with a smile and I felt so special when Sarah called out my name. So after signing in and having a quick vent, we were shuttled to the destination which took a very scenic route through Sea Point's High Level road.

Upon arrival, we had beautiful ladies usher us in, had out photos taken by an instant-digital-print-and-email-to-self machine. You know those ones, they act like digital versions of Polaroid cameras and they pretend to be cooler because they can send your pick to you immediately. Down the stairs Jameson ladies were ready to welcome you with a chilled Jameson cocktail and a towel if you were planning on swimming. I wasn't planning on swimming because it didn't click in my head that there would be a pool at the venue and somehow I still managed to find myself in the pool in my full Stiaan Louw ensemble.

Basically, Saturday was mind blowing. I don't recall the last time I had so much fun, booze and fun for dayz. Have a squizz at the images and videos from the day and you'll get a great idea of what was happening for all of us who were present.
