G-Star RAW
recently invited handfuls of media and personalities to engage in a much more
intimate viewing of their Spring Summer 2014 seasonal highlights. Set in their
new showroom space in The Foundry, the team set about to remind us why they
were design leaders in the denim industry.
Highlighting
classic jackets in high-tech fabrications, we were exposed to everything from
trench coats (my favourites) to parkas (which I fell in love with), which were
constructed from ultra lightweight nylons and meshes. This, a typical
reflection of G-Star’s innovation in practical fashion and denim.
Of course, this
collection will only be available in SA from September onwards. And only
certain pieces will be available in certain outlets. Make sure you’re glued to
this blog for further updates and an opportunity to get a sneak peak on what
product drops to expect in the near future.
