Now that the reviews are out of the way, perhaps now is the opportune moment to send a special shout out and thank you to certain parties. It’s best to start with the organising team behind SA Menswear Week; it’s been so long since we’ve been chanting the question ‘what about a menswear week’ and you have finally delivered. Teething issues are prevalent with any event and by far, for a first-time event by a first-time team – it was superb. Let’s make the next one exceptional. When is the next one, by the way?

To the team from Tsogo Sun’s SunSquare Cape Town hotel: Set in the heart of Cape Town, in the green and leafy City Bowl area off De Waal Drive, SunSquare CT was kind enough to host our Joburg Contributing Editor, Brian Lehang, for the days and nights of fashion week. Revamped as the city’s newest hotspot for fashion-lovers, the SunSquare CT Hotel boasts a range of features set to dazzle any star-studded event visitors come to in the city of Cape Town.
