Global Sports Brand PUMA
reunites with alternative sportswear pioneers ICNY this season for another
exciting release the PUMA x ICNY IGNITE Ice Cream pack (R1 999) – an
amalgamation of both brands’ vision, push for innovation and integration of
sport into lifestyle.
The
PUMA x ICNY IGNITE Ice Cream pack comes in two colourways inspired by ice cream
flavours, chocolate chip cookie dough and mint chocolate chip. The upper is
decked in full-colour 3M reflective material while the IGNITE foam outsole is
dressed with black speckles that resemble chocolate chips and cookies. The
breathable mesh upper keeps the temperature down even during the hottest summer
days.
ICNY
was developed after designer Mike Cherman was hit by a car while cycling - the
New York brand was created to provide increased visibility and safety through
the use of reflective materials on key areas of sporting apparel and
accessories.
For
this second collaboration, PUMA and ICNY chose the latest running franchise the
IGNITE runner and embedded
