What a hot
fashion mess! Nicola Formichetti has once again gone bonkers and did the most
with recreating in reality what his psychedelic mind imagines with this
fantastical explosion of ‘Imaginee Better Than Realitee’ campaign and look
book.
Collaboration
with Scottish Digital Artist, Portis Wasp, Formichetti has rehashed the Diesel
aesthetic to bring about a whole other attitude and persona, the result has
been an eclectic dose of past present future. Iconic features, such as the
souvenir jacket, parka and studded motorcycle jacket sit alongside treated and
transformed denim experiences.
The collection
brings with it high paced excitement, punk-rock details and nuances of vintage
classic denim traits. There are lacing details on sleeves, scratched-off
‘cookie’ Diesel logos on denim jackets, slogans, cut-outs and cut-offs, panelled
men’s denims for shaping – the works!
The collection
boasts a wide variety of great pieces to mix and match with – allowing you to
explore your denim crazed world in a new manner, perhaps with even more rigour
and less fatigue from conformity.
