Those are some lyrics from one of Rihanna’s songs. Not sure whether now the announcement has been made official, if Rihanna or the PUMA team or blurting them out with intoxicated hearts. Perhaps both parties.
It’s been made official this week that the two power houses are combining their superpowers to create what will be undoubtedly some of the best years for both brands. In a surprising multi-year partnership, PUMA will host Rihanna as an official ambassador for the brand and also tap into her style and innovative techniques to influence the brand’s coming collections as the Womenswear Creative Director.
We don’t know about you, but, being Creative Director of any awesome brand is enough to flick the hating dust off your shoulders. This collaboration set to kick-off in January 2015, with Rihanna as the face of PUMA Sports is dubbed the freshest thing to hit luxury sports leisurewear (by us).
Speaking about the partnership with PUMA, Rihanna said: “It’s great to find a brand that celebrates strength and individuality. I couldn’t think of a more perfect partner to collaborate with as a creative director. I’m excited for you to see what PUMA and I come up with.”
We can’t wait either, Rihanna. As if you will ever read this post. We are excited because you have literally been kicking up amazingly fashionably dust this entire year and we’re stoked to buy into what you will be producing with PUMA.
